It's that time again! Time for what really grinds my gears! Speaking of time, short due dates are what really grinds my gears
What really grinds my gears this week is really short due dates. Say your teacher gives you a five page essay due in two days, and all the work has to be done in class. It would be near impossible!! It isn't just for school either. Even at jobs, some work that would require more than two weeks is due for your boss in a week. It just seems that some people don't take into consideration when they create a due date. Some people are nice, and give a good amount of time to complete something. Others give very little time and always expect that you have tons of time to complete the work, but you really don't. Time doesn't like the world, and the world doesn't like time. It's a vicious cycle. Some things can run in the way of work, such as sudden events, impromptu schedule changes, and even just getting food can affect the time for someone to complete work. Take an essay that is due the next day. That night, you have a baseball game, party at your house, and an expensive reserved dinner at Ruth Chris Steakhouse. There would be no chance that you would be able to get the essay done along with your plans. Sure, the plans may not be very realistic, but sometimes, your realistic plans may equal in time to the super unrealistic plans here. By the way, Ruth Chris Steakhouse is a super fancy, super expensive steakhouse where steaks cost a good thirty to forty dollars for a single steak, not including an appetizer or anything else. I can guarantee that I have never been there, and likely won't be there ever. Now, I may not be able to think of a may not for this subject, but I do have some common sense, and I'm going to display it. More people should take into consideration things that happen during daily life. This includes dinner, after-school activities, and even chores. Sure, we don't have a calculator to calculate due dates, but I do know that dinner can take about two hours, ball games can take about two hours, and chores can take about an hour. one day to complete homework would seem adequate, but two days is likely better. If you would like to contest my gear grinding, feel free to leave a comment! Any comment will do, but please don't get triggered if my post offends you. That is your problem. I am not one to deal with that. It's a case of "not my circus, not my monkeys," and I'm just here to have a good time and vent. Well, that was the third post on what really grinds my gears. Have a good day!! P.S. This is directed at nobody in particular. I'm serious. This blog is a broad generalization blog and is not directed at any singular person or group.
